The Burdens -
Part II
October 08 2022
So here we are again! This time, with a few more vaccinations under our collective belts and fewer bottles of hand sanitiser on our person!
Back in 2020 when we had to reduce our wedding guest list so dramatically, it really, really sucked. We so wanted to celebrate with everyone we invited, but the pandemic had different plans!
So, almost two years on, we'd like to invite you to celebrate our wedding once more - and this time, there is one more reason to celebrate - the arrival of our little Charlie!
We hope you can join us for an evening of food, drink and dancing. It's about time!
All our love,
The Burdens

Party information
IS THERE GOING TO BE A CEREMONY?
Nope! We got married back in 2020, and we're not trying to pretend we didn't! This is a party to celebrate our marriage and our little boy - with everyone who should have been there, first time round! So, no cards, no gifts - just a party (albeit an awesome one)...
SO, WHAT'S THE PLAN?
Arrive at the venue at 5pm for welcome drinks - we'll be there, ready and waiting!
At around 6pm, they'll be a hog roast buffet (vegetarian guests will be catered for too) and we'll have some cake for afters (well, of course).
After your food has settled, we'll have a big old dance!
At 11pm, we'll bid you adieu!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Something nice, you scruff! Think semi-formal!
WHAT FACILITIES ARE THERE AT THE VENUE?
The party will be held in a barn and marquee - fully covered and fully heated, so no chance of catching a chill!
There is a fully stocked cash/card bar with a number of beers on draft and a wide range of wines and spirits.
Should the weather be nice enough, there is a garden and fenced off duck pond which we may make use of, and a playground for the kids.
There is also an indoor playroom for our littlest guests to play in.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
The easiest way to get to the venue is by car - Aylesbury is just off the M1. If you'd prefer to travel by train, the nearest station is Aylesbury Rail Station, and from there, the venue is a 10 minute taxi ride away.
Please note - the venue will allow you to leave your car overnight, but it must be picked up by 11am the following morning. The car park is gated and covered by CCTV, but of course, you leave it at your own risk.
